HARDWARE

  • 6 Windows and 9 Macintosh computers all with zip drives, most with floppy drives, most with CD burner drives
  • 2 color flatbed scanners
  • 2 slide film scanners
  • 1 Black & White Laser Printer (10 cents per page)
  • 1 large format color inkjet printer ($1 per page)
  • 1 typewriter

SOFTWARE

  • Windows XP: Microsoft Office Professional (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access), Microsoft Works, Netscape Communicator, Internet Explorer, Acrobat Reader, Telnet, FTP
  • Mac OS X: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Internet Explorer, Safari, Adobe Creative Suite (Acrobat Professional, Photoshop, InDesign, GoLive), QuickTime Pro, Macromedia Studio (Freehand, Flash, Fireworks, Dreamweaver), Macromedia Director, BBEdit Lite, Cacaphony, iMovie, iTunes, iPhoto, Fetch, Acrobat Reader, Adobe Type Classics for Learning (436 fonts).

POLICIES & PROCEDURES

  • A current stamped UNR ID is required to use the lab.
  • All users must sign in and out during open lab.
  • No food or drink is allowed in the lab, please help keep this lab clean.
  • No smoking or tobacco use in the lab.
