London, United Kingdom

Big Ben, with the London Eye (the large ferris wheel) and the misleading blue sky...You'll note that Big Ben is getting quite a lean in its old age. Elena, our London 'tour guide' and hostess extraordinare (from Barcelona but now living in London and working for Bloomberg News), and the girls at Big Ben. (It was either Big Ben or the girls, your couldn't get far enough away for a picture of both without getting run over by one of those cute double decker buses. Apearances can be deceiving, obviously.)
A view of the London Eye, from the safety of the snaily slow line. It has around 30 "bubbles" with a capacity of around 25 people in each bubble. It's one of the biggest ferris wheels in the world. I think.

A view from our pod, or bubble, near the top of the London Eye. Off to the right is Big Ben and Westminster Abbey, with the River Thames and the miraculously blue sky (wind not shown).

A busy London street in the middle of one of the shopping districts. You can't see it, but they're all going to crash. Just look at the drivers, they're sitting in the passengers seats for goodness sake!! The girls at a metro sign, in the infamous London Underground. This one happens to be Knightsbridge. If you like this picture, you can order pictures of the girls standing by signs for King's Cross, Highbury & Islington, Baker St., Edgware Road..... you get what we're saying.
Tower Bridge, near the Tower of London. Its a bridge. It has towers. What more can we say?

The Tower of London, or at least the outside. We didn't manage to visit the inside, so Mum made up for it by taking enough pictures of outside to make it look like we spent hours.

Trafalgar Square, complete with lions, pigeons, and the worst pests..........tourists. The outside (once again) of Westminster Abbey. We didn't even get to see the Queen. Darn.
A protest in the streets of London. They were lobbying for the freedom of Tibet. FREE TIBET! I liked the bobbys, personally. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!! Oh my gosh that's scary!!! Hannah showing off her London souvenirs.Note: she is not acting under free will!!!
