Coco Pazzo: A Rome away from Rome

There is one word for dining at Coco Pazzo : Buonissimo!

My friend Dan and I called in our reservations and went on a Saturday. Upon arrival we were seated at a candle-lit table in the corner.

Italian music played in the background, and flowers and small white lights dangled from wooden lattice on the ceiling, makin g us feel as if we were having a candlelight dinner on a patio in Rome.

We opened our menus, which were laid upon a red and white checkered tablecloth. The menu categories included: "appetizers, legless dishes, two legs, four legs and dishes with fins." Dan and I chose legless dishes. Dan ordered the cheese tortellini, ($ 13.95), and I ordered the manicotti ($ 11.95).

While waiting for our food, Dan and I enjoyed a glass of Merlot ($4.95). We also feasted on warm bread sticks and the house salad, covered in a delightful Italian dressing, which made the minutes feel like seconds while we waited for the main course.

Dan's cheese tortellini had a creamy sauce that melted in his mouth. My manicotti filled my mouth with flavor and made it almost impossible to put my fork down. We could taste the freshness in the noodles used in these two dishes.

Big portions, wonderful and friendly service and great conversation made Coco Pazzo a great dining experience. It is a great place to take a date or just unwind after a busy day at work.
