Brew
Brothers scores a touchdown
by Johnson, Outpost contributor
Good food, the best of friends and, of course, Sunday
afternoon football - what more could you ask for? This is
exactly what you can expect at the Brew Brothers restaurant,
located in the Eldorado Hotel and Casino. Even if you
despise football, the food on its own is good enough to
bring you back.
The Brew Brothers, although located in the pandemonium a
downtown casino, feels like another world. Inside this haven
are several television sets mounted along the walls, making
it possible to catch a glimpse of the what's on from any
seat in the house.
Every seat has a view at Brew Brothers.

The atmosphere proves especially inviting on Sunday
afternoons when football rules the television. This makes it
a popular gathering place for football nuts.
My friend and I were quickly seated in front of the Miami
Dolphins game by a smiling hostess.
Scanning the menu, I quickly decided that what my stomach
so hungered for was a pizza - Hawaiian-style. The price next
to the personal pizza caught my eye though and, for a
moment, I hesitated. For a personal pizza, $6.25 seemed like
an a lot. I was hungry and impatient though, and I wanted
pizza. So I placed my order with the waiter and began
watching the Dolphins rout the Patriots.
Finally, after about a 15-minute wait, my friend's food
arrived, followed by mine. Unfortunately, it wasn't what I
ordered. I was starving, and this made me angry. But the
waiter was humble enough, offering to get another one right
out of the oven for me.
The second pizza arrived just as I had ordered it, albeit
smaller than the first, and I began to dig in. After
finishing his meal, my friend ordered a basket of chips and
salsa. He was surprised when the waiter said they would be
on the house because of the late pizza. This more than made
up for the late service.
Chatting with the other football fans, I soon found
myself with a single slice of pizza left. For a pizza I
thought was small, it filled me up. For $6.25, that's a
bargain.
My share of the bill came to $8 including the tip, which
the waiter earned. I left the restaurant with a full stomach
and the joy of watching my favorite football team demolish
their arch rivals.
Although the price may seem a bit steep, Brew Brothers
strives to send you home full and ready to come again.
