Austin

Austin, Nev., is a haven for bottle diggers. The town was built in the 1860s during Nevada's silver era and many of the homes and business of the era are still standing. It's not the buildings that interest bottle diggers, though. They look for places where outhouses once sat because in the 19th century, privies doubled as the family dump.
