Mining

Mines in Nevada were drained toward the end of the 19th century. The revenue from mining in 1890 was about $2.6, less than a fifth of the average annual mining revenue from 1866 to 1902. In the photo is the Butter's Cyanide Plant, a mining company in Nevada.
