At The Valley of the Temples in Oahu, Hawaii stands a monument to the influence and impact made on Hawaii and its culture by Japanese immigrants. This monument is called the Byodo-In Temple. It is a slightly smaller recreation of the actual Byodo-In temple in Uji, Japan.

With its lush gardens, flowing streams and ponds and beautiful setting below Oahu's mountains, the temple provides a sense of tranquility to all who visit it. To learn and see more about the temple, click on the picture to the right.
