Ghost Town and Underground Mine

The museum's ghost town is brought to life by authentic architecture and detail. An original smokestack from the museum's building is used as a wall in the ghost town. A prospector who sits in this exhibit talks and his hand moves. But beware, the exhibit has frightened some children, including Hendrix's son.

The entrance to the underground mine is found in the ghost town. The mine consists of a 300-foot tunnel showing different aspects of Nevada's mining industry. The exhibit shows a mining station and a loading station. This replica gives visitors an accurate picture of Nevada mines were like.
