Before the Bacchus parade

 

Parade goers set up ladders and chairs to get higher than the rest of the crowd. In the last ten years or so, ladders have begun to out number people at some of the larger parades. This is the scene on Napolean Ave. an hour before Bacchus, one of the biggest parades, rolled.
