American Pop is an animated movie that follows four generations of a family through the evolution of American music. In 96 minutes, the movie attempts to chronicle the lives of four men and explore some of the important music from the 20th century. American Pop offers an interesting but somewhat cliche look at what life was like in the roaring 20s, the psychedelic 60s and the New Wave club scene of the late 70s.
