RODEO - Come to the "Wildest, Richest Rodeo
in the West." The Reno Rodeo is a week-long event in June
that involves concerts, shopping, and fun for the whole
family. This site gives a full schedule throughout the
week, and tickets and events
pages.
- UPTOWN
DOWNTOWN ARTOWN - Uptown, Downtown, Artown
is the Reno Summer Arts festival, which lasts throughout
the month of July. This site has a really cool schedule
of events page for the whole month.
- HOT
AUGUST NIGHTS - Revert back
to the '50s and '60s at Reno's Hot August Nights, the
first week in August, in downtown Reno and Sparks. This
site has a really cool major
events page that gives every event for the week.
- NEVADA
STATE FAIR -This site is mainly dedicated to
winners, such as the Youth
Livestock Auction and the cooking
and baking contests along with the award-winning
recipes. The State Fair takes place in August.
- GREAT
BALLOON RACE - More than
100 balloons fill the sky of Reno the weekend after Labor
Day. This site shows the schedule of events,race
photos, and directions to Rancho San Rafael Park,
where this event takes place.
- RENO
AIR RACES - The Reno Air Races is a four-day
event in September. Every year thousands of spectators
watch ace pilots race through the air at the Stead
airport. This site provides ticket
information, performers and maps to get there.
