- Citizen
Alert Native American Program - This
branch of Citizen Alert serves as a clearinghouse for
indigenous and non-Native Americans for enviromental
issues in the Great Basin and Nevada.
- Clean
Tahoe Program - Working through policy
development and community involvement, this organization
works to eliminate debris and litter in the Tahoe Basin.
The Adopt-A-Neighborhood program is highlighted.
- Environmental
Protection Agency (EPA) Region 9 - The
homepage of Nevada's regional office of the U.S. EPA
contains information on air, water, toxic materials and
waste. "Recycle City," a page of scavenger hunts and
other games, entertains and educates on recycling
issues.

local watchdog and advocacy organization that provides
information on air and water quality issues on the Tahoe

of Nevada Agency for Nuclear Projects -
This agency works to develop nuclear waste disposal and
transportation policy that will ensure the protection of
Nevada's residents and environment. The site includes
informational updates on the proposed high-level nuclear
waste repository at Yucca Mountain in southern
Nevada.
