Northern Nevada entertainment links Reno World - This site offers detailed sections on events and attractions within the Reno, Sparks, Carson City and Lake Tahoe areas. It also offers maps and a bit of Northern Nevada history. This site loads quickly and is very user friendly. Reno Shows - A good site to find what shows are open in the Reno/Tahoe area. It offers descriptions of the shows, ticket information and prices. Reno Events - This site lists upcoming Reno events for the rest of 1998 through December 1999. It gives a brief description of each event and gives telephone numbers for more information. The site also offers links to events pages for Carson City and Virginia City. Fleischmann Planetarium - This site has information about the planetarium and what's showing there. It also gives directions to the planetarium. Lawlor Events Center - Gives information on upcoming events at Lawlor, including concerts, variety shows and University of Nevada Athletics. A big bonus at this site is the seating chart so you can find out where you'll be sitting or where you want to be sitting and a link to BASS tickets. Performing Arts - The University of Nevada Reno Division of Continuing Education's Performing Arts Page features value priced performances by a variety of artists. Entries also give the times and prices for each performance. Nevada Museum of Arts - Offers descriptions of upcoming exhibits, programs and collections. Site also gives directions to the museum and prices for admission. Nevada Opera - Tells what operas are coming to town and when. Gives a brief description of the plot and the schedule for the shows.
