    • SAN FRANCISCO SIDEWALK - San Francisco Sidewalk offers tips for skiers and a comprehensive list of links to Lake Tahoe downhill and cross-country ski resort Web sites. This site also suggests slopes best for snowboarders and beginning, intermediate and advanced skiers. Further, San Francisco Sidewalk suggests resorts for night skiing, tree skiing and off-piste skiing.
    • RENO DOT NET - This site, sponsored by TCI Media Services, gives a synopsis on selected Lake Tahoe ski resorts, including elevation, location, distance from Reno and price information.
    • VIRTUAL TAHOE - Sponsored by the South Shore Visitor's Authority, this site gives links to Web sites of the three main South Shore ski resorts: Sierra-at-Tahoe, Heavenly and Kirkwood. This site also provides a snow report, information about snow gear, rental equipment and weather and road conditions.
    • NORTH TAHOE RESORT ASSOCIATION - The North Tahoe Resort Association provides useful pricing information, including details about interchangeable lift tickets between seven North Tahoe resorts.     • GO-TAHOE - This is a complete Lake Tahoe site, providing links to many cross country and downhill ski resort Web sites. For those interested in a little more than skiing, Go-Tahoe also lists helpful links regarding anything from real estate to boat sales.
  • SKI CONDITIONS
    • SKI CENTRAL-CALIFORNIA and SKI CENTRAL-NEVADA - Ski Central gives ski condition information classified by state. This site lists the snow depth, the condition of the surface snow, the number of lifts open and the number of runs open.
    • SNOWEB - Snoweb gives the skier an in-depth report on the snow conditions at each major Lake Tahoe resort and is updated on weekends. It also lists characteristics of each resort, including the number of lifts open, vertical feet and the percentage of terrain devoted to novice, intermediate and advanced skiers.
  • REVIEWS
    • GO SKI - In addition to its list of snow conditions and resort Web site links, Go Ski offers a unique feature--a resort review section. The reviews are authored by actual skiers and appear in the lower half of the page.
  • PRICES
    • DARRYL - Darryl's site offers a complete listing of Lake Tahoe ski lift ticket prices and discounts, along with contact numbers for the respective resorts. This site is maintained by Darryl Watkins of Watkins Web Creations, an Internet development company.
